Fiesta 2011
Each year Los Amigos de La Peņita hosts a gala fundraising event in support of its projects.
This years event is scheduled for January 30, 2011 so make sure to mark your calendars. Los Amigos will be looking for volunteers to help out with Fiesta 2011.

The 2010 Fiesta was held on Sunday, January 31 at the award-winning home of Thomas Bartlett in La Peņita.

Donate Items for El Gran Bazar
Those hard working mothers of the Education Committee of Los Amigos are soliciting donations of items to sell at their garage sale.
Please keep in mind that "what is one person's garbage is another's treasure".

- Calle Mazatlan #66 (just leave it by the door)
- or at next Los Amigo's meeting

Help Make Baskets for Recycling
From time to time the Recycling Committee hosts a basket making session.
Basket making is easy, very small learning curve. To learn about it and when the next session is, please contact: recycling@losamigosdelapenita.com
You can also buy a basket for your home or neighbourhood.

Look for the Los Amigos booth at Thursday's Tianguis in La Peñita and select one of our new t-shirts, shopping bags or/and cookbooks - great for you, great gifts!
Los Amigos de La Peñita maintains the booth throughout the winter season.
You can also get a coupon book that allows you to both support a good cause - the work of our Education Committee - and save money or help our plastics
recycling program by buying a recycling basket for your home or neighbourhood.
